Introducing the Deity V-Mic D3 Pro - Can it dethrone Rode as the best on camera mic?

I recently placed an order for the new V-Mic D3 Pro on-camera shotgun microphone from Deity Microphones. Deity is a fairly new company that has quickly caught the ears of many audio professionals with their newly refreshed line of microphones designed by professional location sound mixers. A full review will be coming as soon as the microphone arrives. I'm hoping I can retire my old Rode Videomic Pro.
